The Rose Project

In 1997 I produced a submission to an art show (Please, see the details in the Projects section of this website) called "The Name of the Rose", which you can appreciate below.

This concept led to a series of drawings, paintings and digital media that I had to interrupt in 2006 when life became a bit complicated and I had to focus my attention into family and work issues. These works, some of them unfinished, remained dormant for a few years until 2021, when I was able to complete the series.

Except for the triptych shown above and one of the drawings, this series has never been presented to the public as a whole.
